  • STEP 1Pre-Assessment

    Before assessing an individual, our experts help you develop performance models for the jobs you need to fill. A performance model is a benchmark to compare individuals against to establish Job-Person Fit.
  • STEP 2Assessment

    Once a performance model is established, candidates take the assessment online through a link. The assessment doesn’t require monitoring, and an individual can take it from anywhere with internet access.
  • STEP 3Post-Assessment

    When the assessment is complete, the system instantly scores it and sends the requested reports to the hiring manager for use for hiring and selection, onboarding, leadership development, coaching and more.

PLAN

Know the Job
Identify the traits and behaviours needed to perform a job successfully.

PXT Select solutions help hiring managers and recruiters align early in the hiring and selection process by defining targets across cognitive traits, behavioural traits, and occupational interests most important to be successful in a position. These targets, or “performance models,” determine the range of scores typical for success in the position you are trying to fill. With these performance models in place, the hiring process is accelerated.

ASSESS

Know the Candidate
Select the best candidates to put through the interview or selection process.

The PXT Select suite of assessments ask candidates to respond to a set of questions to determine their fit to the position. The higher the overall job fit result, the better the fit to the role. Hiring managers can reach out to the most qualified candidates and advance them in the selection process. Assessment results include personalized questions to probe for how candidates might respond in different situations, especially in areas where the person doesn’t quite fit the model. This can help to better assess the fit with the team and organization.

CHOOSE

Know the Fit
Choose the right person to fill a role in your organization.

The PXT Select assessments compare candidate results to the job requirements and provides an overall Job Fit result. The closer the result to the target, the better the fit. With the unique Job Fit feature, PXT Select measures the overall fit to the role across twenty different variables that span Thinking Style (can they do the job?), Behavioural Traits (how will they do the job?), and Interests (will they enjoy the job?). This provides unbiased insight across all candidates in the selection process.
